Lying ahead are four paths in different directions, including hunting for a job, pursuing post-graduates study, studying abroad and starting their own business. Under the cartoon, there is a caption, summarizing its meaning, which reads: “Choices”.

Choice means to be for advantages and against disadvantages, but no one knows which move is the best for the life. Standing at a crossroad, presented with abundant possibilities, it is natural to be confused or indecisive. After years of study, for the first time, undergraduates are faced with a wide variety of choices, each leading to an unknown future. The choice has to be made to the exclusion of the others and is likely to determine the course of the life.

From my perspective, the reason we hesitate and shrink from making a definite decision when we are surrounded by multiple choices, is the fear that results from comparisons. Such is human nature that we tend to measure our life against others’, wondering whether we should have taken their path instead, as though all the other chances linger like a shadow around us. In this case, it is advisable for us to bear in mind that there are no two identical leaves in the world, nor did each individual life exist. Accordingly, analyzing the strength and weakness is the key to the right path. Only by adhering to the path which is suitable for us can the dreams eventually be achieved.

As for me, without business family and background, it is advisable to find a job rather than to start a business of my own, because only in this way can I learn with the directors and colleagues, being familiar with working process and enriching social experience.

For one thing, to work in a state-owned business means to be empowered with a stable position, a steady income and an easy working environment. For another thing, to work in a joint venture means to be equipped with a speedy pace of working and the rapid development of individual ability.

As for me, without a strong background, it is advisable to work in a joint venture rather than in a joint venture, because only in this way can I improve my capability , grow fast in the workforce and accumulate experience for the future.
